Compensating For Something

I've been making Martin-style compensated saddles out of bone, they have an elegant way of doing it and is much more aesthetically pleasing than most factory made efforts. This particular saddle was not just a pretty face either, 3 of the strings were bang on the money and no 12th fret note was more than 4 cents off (all flat which is preferable), for an acoustic that's pretty damn good.

I'm now offering this as a service, they're made by hand from either bone or buffalo horn so any spacing, width and action height is possible.
