Sentinel Redux

A more refined instrument than its predecessor, the padauk Sentinel #2 has a less extreme neck. The original neck was about as flat and thin as it could get, but this one is around 19mm thick at the 1st fret and 21mm at the 12th, with a more gentle C shaped carve. However, any talk of refinement goes out the window when you plug this thing in. It is loaded with the Alnico versions of the Bare Knuckle Nailbombs which are about as throaty and complex as any humbucker you’re likely to hear, the bridge in particular is a hairy mad man. The Bare Knuckle lads made the neck pickup with a reverse magnet for me, so I’m using Ibanez style 5 way switching which I’m a big fan of, plenty of versatile tones without needing a push/pull pot.
