Had to strip the headstock and redo the veneer in bubinga to match the body, it’s these sort of things that keep me up at night. As much as I liked the figured eucalyptus this works much better now.
Drilled the holes for the bridge and for the strings so that they feed through the body. I had to do this by hand because my pillar drill isn’t big enough, but I don’t recommend doing it this way, one wonky hole and it’s very difficult to fix.
hThe bigger holes on the back take the steel ferrules that hold the ball end of the strings, you can see where they meet the holes drilled from the top in the centre. Nailed it.
