Domino Build Complete

RLP Domino

The latest Domino build is done, this one has an English walnut top on a padauk body, with a 7 piece sapele, walnut and maple neck complete with an ebony board. Body and neck are finished with shellac and hand rubbed oil-based varnish. The board has a 12" radius, mounted with 22 Jescar EVO Gold narrow/tall jumbo frets. The fret markers are aluminium rings with rosewood and brass inserts.

Schaller provided the 2-point tremolo, and locking tuners, both are excellent and very well made. Pickups are Bare Knuckle as usual, a Mother's Milk in the neck, an overwound Irish Tour in the middle, and a Slow Hand with baseplate in the bridge slot. Standard 5-way Oak Grigsby switch, with controls configured as a master volume, master tone, and a blend control for adding the bridge to the neck and vice-versa. Bourns potentiometers, Switchcraft jack and a vintage foil in oil capacitor round out the electrics.
